Safety and Compliance

Since 2020, drone imaging has reemerged as the technological “go-to” tool. Drone applications have already proven value across industries because they are inexpensive, versatile and their use cases are only limited by one’s imagination.

The FAA has also helped drones become more accepted in business. By creating automated authorizations (LAANC), for missions in certain airspace, and loosening waiver restrictions, businesses can more readily adapt drones into their workflow. With the low cost of drones, hundreds of drone apps, and streamlined FAA regulations for UAVs, drones will become common place in business sooner than later. As opportunities for advancement increase, opportunities for illegal and unsafe operators increase too.

At Aerial5 Visual Solutions our commitment to customer excellence includes following a comprehensive safe practices protocol, and adhering to all federal, state and local UAVs airspace regulations. We will not compromise our name or your business to run drone missions illegally.

It is a federal offense to fly a drone commercially without an FAA drone pilot’s license.

We carry drone and business insurance.

We are a licensed Woman Owned Business on all government levels and we are a certified DBE with FDOT.

*We get necessary waivers, COA’s, check NOTAM’s, 1800WXBRIEF, and communicate with ATC when needed.

*Terminology

COA - Certificate of Authorization is an authorization issued by the FAA for UA (drones) use in controlled airspace.

NOTAM - Notice to Air Missions-is a notice containing information essential to personnel concerned with flight operations but not known far enough in advance to be publicized by other means. It states the abnormal status of the National Airspace System (not the normal status).

1800WXBRIEF - current in-depth weather report for flight plan.

ATC - Air Traffic Control is ground based personal and equipment responsible for monitoring and controlling air traffic within a particular area.

By being members of the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association, we have access to additional resources and insurance.
The drone industry is an open frontier. At Aerial5 we work diligently to stay informed on changing laws and regulations, so we can focus on our mission: providing our customers with quality service, with amazing drone technology so your business can succeed!
